Map geometry

The interactive map is generated from Natural Earth-derived 1:50m country geometry distributed by world-atlas. Natural Earth data is public domain and depicts de facto boundaries by default.

Country facts

Capital, language, and currency information is cross-checked against government and institutional references, including the CIA World Factbook. Recommendation research begins with national tourism organizations and the European Travel Commission.

Photography

Launch content currently uses original editorial graphic treatments. Licensed photography can be added only when creator, source, commercial-use license, dimensions, and accessible alt text are stored with the asset. Images are never hotlinked.

Corrections

Geography is complicated and websites contain typos. Send corrections to hello@countryofeurope.com with a primary source.
